WHAT YOU NEED:
- kite paper (transparent paper) of various colours – plain paper, cardboard, fabric, … can be used, but kite paper is translucent, so it works better)
- Transparent self-adhesive paper – 20 x 50 cm
- Seed Beads
- Rattle
- Coloured thread – 1.20 m
- Scissor
- Pen
HOW TO MAKE:
Fold the sticker paper in half and draw a circle (or any other shape that you prefer).
Cut out the circle, keeping the paper folded. The idea is to cut two figures at the same time.
Cut small pieces of kite paper.
In one of the circles of the self-adhesive paper, glue several of those pieces, distributing the colours well. Try not to overlap too much so that light can pass through.
Thread some beads into the thread, knotting both ends. This will be the top of your mobile. Pay attention to the space you leave free below!
Stick the thread (just below the beads) in the center of your first circle. Then, stick another circle over this one.
Repeat the previous steps: insert more beads, stick another circle,…
At the end, tie a rattle. You will enjoy hearing it when the mobile moves.
Cut the top part of the thread, in order to tie it to a rod.
