I wanted to try these candles inside eggs for a long time. I saw them on Pinterest and thought they were really beautiful in their simplicity.
Easter is the perfect time for a decoration like this!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- eggshells
- egg boxes
- t-lights
- dyes (we used natural pigments)
- paints and brushes
HOW TO MAKE:
Break the eggs carefully, so that you keep half shell intact.
Here at home, we saved these shells throughout the week.
Paint the egg carton.
Melt the wax of the t-lights slowly. The wick usually comes attached to a metal base, which easily separates from the wax. It should be kept separate.
Add the dyes to the melted wax.
Carefully pour into the shell.
Before it dries, put the wick in.
Spread the eggs on the shells.
