We tasted these delicious cakes from Bordeaux and were decided to try the recipe at home.
100 g brown sugar
125 g flour (we used rice flour)
500 ml milk (or vegetable drink)
1 tbsp butter (melted) or coconut oil
a special cannelés tin
Mix the eggs, yolk and sugar.
Add the flour and mix again.
Heat up the milk and stir in the butter until it begins to boil.
Add the two mixtures.
Leave to cool at room temperature.
Pour the dough into the cannelés tins and leave it to rest for 10 minutes.
Bake in two stages:
- 10 minutes at 230°C
- 50 minutes at 180°C
